It's always fun to speak with someone who understands what you are trying to say without even needing to find the right words. Shared beliefs, an acknowledgement of the unknown or just a fascination in all the wonders of this world - and perhaps the next....
I wrote this poem after one such conversation.... Put a pin in a map and follow a dream to a place where you know and yet never have been, where your spirit recalls the most beautiful scene and your soul reconnects with your past. From the crest of a wave to the crest of a hill, your mind can be calm and your heart become still and you say what you must and you think what you will, with your troubles and cares fading fast. As the clouds melt away and the time is no more, you might glimpse just ahead of you one final door and you know it is this that you travelled here for and you find what you're seeking at last. copyright Jason Endfield 2016 : all rights reserved

What a stunning poem. I have already read it many times and each time, I find something else that I can relate to. Beautiful writing.
